Personal Care Services at Caridad de San Antonio
The Medicaid Personal Care Option (PCO) Program is for qualified consumers 21 years of age or older who are eligible for full Medicaid coverage, and meet medical necessity requirements. PCO services allows consumers to live in their home and maintain or increase their independence. The consumer's selected MCO determines eligibility and coordinates benefits and services for the individual. Services covered under the Medicaid PCO Program may include the following but are not limited to:
- Eating
- Supportive mobility assistance
- Household services
- Individual bowel and bladder care
- Meal preparation
- Support services
- Hygiene, grooming, and bathing
